OKOS
With the introduction of OKOS, PosTrack builds on our long history as a preferred technology partner for the food service industry. OKOS offers kiosk ordering functionality for an enhanced dining experience, board service "take-out" meals, as well as various campus and retail operations. Students and guests place orders from strategically placed kiosks in dining locations on the campus. Future releases will allow online orders from dorm rooms, offices, or any internet connected computer.
Communicate
Completed orders are visually displayed on order-ready LCD panels (which also can display graphics, logos, or campus advertising). Patrons may also choose to receive text message and/or e-mail alerts on their cell phone when their order is ready. Other order-ready notifications via PA announcement or restaurant-style electronic pagers are available. The system tracks the pager/table number of each order. Kitchen staff receive orders via a kitchen display system as well as zoned production printers.
Reach out
OKOS drastically extends the reach of both residential campus, and retail food service operations. Capture new business by providing the utmost convenience to patrons. Strategically placed kiosks capture walk-in traffic and ease long lines without additional personnel or POS lanes. With full graphical presentation of board and retail menu items, patrons perceive an enhanced and expanded menu selection. Currently, OKOS helps you to better serve your patrons by displaying cumulative nutrition information as they build their orders. For campus/residential food service locations OKOS provides patrons with aggregated nutritional history via a secure login on PosTrack’s i8What.com website.
Customize
Managers create detailed menu schedules with special and cyclical items. Individual ordering allows items to be cooked-to-order. OKOS may be used for board take-out meal plans. Managers may also configure up-sell options that prompt patrons to purchase retail items at the board lines and retail guests to order more – adding incremental revenue and increasing retail average ticket size.
